OUR FOUNDER
PHILIPPA ATTWOOD
Philippa Attwood is the founder of Futuro Nativo, a non-profit focused on preserving indigenous cultures and promoting sustainable ecological practices. Her journey into environmental advocacy began after a decade of international travel, during which she connected with communities across various countries and cultivated a deep understanding of sustainable living and indigenous wisdom.
Before founding Futuro Nativo, Philippa built a career as a Project Manager in the UK, working in roles that involved organizing complex projects, team management, and strategic planning. Her professional background in project management gave her the skills to lead large-scale initiatives, balancing logistics with creative solutions to drive positive change. These experiences provided a strong foundation for her later work in community-led projects, such as the development of reforestation projects with indigenous villages in Brazil.
Philippa continues to blend her passion for sustainability, culture, and the arts, advocating for a future where indigenous wisdom plays a central role in global ecological efforts.
