FUTURO NATIVO
FUTURO NATIVO
OUR TEAM
Our team is pretty small , each person has a critical role in the structure of the organisation.
The size of our team allows the process around decision making to be very communal and to change depending on the needs of the project. When selecting communities to work with, the basis is always the strength of our relational connection with them.

OUR FOUNDER
"I have always had an affinity toward nature, as a child I was frequently drawing trees but there were a series of specific experiences
that would catalyse the creation of FUTURO NATIVO"
"I worked in the UK as a strategic project and program manager for many years, heavily in the corporate industry - until I decided to sell all my belongings and leave to travel the world.
In my travels I saw the first hand destruction of the rainforests and natural habitats caused by industry and disregard. In 2011, I summated Kilamanjaro, I realized how beautiful the planet is and with that appreciation I wanted to see more of it. I then traveled through Europe and India.
In 2015 whilst diving with giant manta rays in Ecuador - I noticed plastic on their fins and at that point I started to question how we were treating the earth.
During my first time in the Amazon my world shifted. I had my first experiences with the medicinal teachers of the jungle and becoming aware of how intrinsically connected we are to nature, I realised how important it was to protect it.
On the way out of the Amazon, I had a flight from Rio to go to Australia, I was traveling down a long road. On one side I saw dense jungle and the other side was all torn down. It was a desert. Literally one side of this long road was alive, and the other side was dead.
I knew, at that moment, I needed to do something".
