SHUHU CULTURAL CENTRE

The Yawarani village of the Yawanawa indigenous community wish to build a Shuhu cultural centre to conserve the knowledge and wisdom of their tradition.

This space will be used for events and meetings part of the Yawarany community, for them to unite and commune and practice their culture, with the younger generation taking on this knowledge and training.

The Shuhu will be approximately 16m x 16m in size so that the traditional dances and ceremonies can be practiced in this space.
